If I had to pick a symbol to
describe the main character in my book Katniss, it would be a shield. I think a
shield would fit Katniss perfectly because she comes together with many people
in the games and helps them throughout the book. She does many things
throughout the book to show she fights for others, such as when she tries to
save Gale from the whipping. At this moment it is showing that she doesn’t think
how she could get hurt or killed she thinks how could she save Gale. I think a lot of people would only think about
themselves if they were put in many of the situations she encounters, which is
why I would give her the symbol of a shield.

That's a good connection. Another way that she is like a shield is that she protects the people that she cares about, but can also be deadly whenever she needs to be.
ReplyDeleteIt's ironic that you think that she shares the traits of a shield; she goes out and kills people. A shield can't kill.
ReplyDeleteThats a very good Connection. I agree with you that Katniss can symbolize a sheild in the way that she protects others.
